With our tryouts being moved to July, we have had many families reach out after its completion with interest in trying out. Due to this demand, Mid TN will be hosting a Make-up tryout for all age groups! 

12s & 13s: Sunday September 28, 2025 | 4:30 - 6:30 PM 

14s - 18s: Sunday October 5, 2025 | 1:00 - 3:00 PM

 

Why did tryout times move from last year?

We decided to move our club volleyball tryouts from October to July for several strategic reasons.

Firstly, holding tryouts in July allows us to align more closely with the academic calendar, providing athletes with the opportunity to focus solely on their school programs when the school year begins. This change also enables us to form teams earlier, allowing for a longer preseason training period, which can lead to better skill development and team cohesion.

Furthermore, by scheduling tryouts in July, we can avoid conflicts with the busy fall sports schedule and ensure that athletes who are involved in multiple sports have the chance to fully participate without having to choose between commitments. As other programs have also moved their tryouts to July, staying competitive requires us to continually enhance the quality of our training and development programs while ensuring our athletes have the best possible resources and support.

This adjustment ultimately aims to enhance the overall experience for our athletes and improve the competitive edge of our teams.
